Pet of the Week: Maggie

Maggie is a kitty who knows what she likes, and isn’t afraid to tell you about it! She learned very quickly that snack time is between 4 and 5 pm for the cats at the shelter. Maggie loves snack time! She wakes up from her afternoon nap and starts watching us starting at 3:30, and as soon as she sees someone coming with a treat container, she stretches, yawns, and begins to meow at us insistently. Pet Wash Open for 2019 Season!

Get those dirty dogs to the SPCA of Hancock County and scrub-a-dub-dub! The All-Paws Pet Wash is open for the season. Hours: 8am-4pm, 7 days a week The Pet Wash accepts quarters, $1 bills, and $5 bills. $5 gives you 6 minutes, and your donations help us take care of the shelter critters.

Pet of the Week: a dog named Rescue

  Rescue is an extroverted people-lover. She’s a little bit sassy and we call her a “back talker” because she tells us just how she feels about every little thing. She has an extraordinary range of sounds to express herself! Rescue also looooooves food.
