Bandit, with his big frame and welcoming nature, tended to be an attention grabber at the shelter, while shy little Thelma was a bit overlooked. What most people didn’t see, was that after the hustle and bustle of shelter life settled down in the evening, Thelma was found hanging out with her favorite cat – Bandit! Inevitably, someone fell in love with Bandit and wanted to give him a new furrever home! We were so happy for him … but what about Thelma? After explaining the bond that Thelma has with Bandit and her likelihood of succeeding in a new home if she had her comfort buddy, their new adopter lovingly accepted both into her home! Here’s an update from their new home:
“Thelma finally made an appearance after two and a half weeks. I hadn’t seen her for a few days so I was terrified that she got out somehow. I was some relieved when she came upstairs as if she owned the place. She comes right to me now and they both love treats. Thanks for all your help!”
