Rex: A Little Kitten With a Big Problem. Can You Help?

Rex is adorable, sweet, and simply everything that we love about kittens. However, he was born with a deformed left foreleg. This puts strain on his spine when he walks and can cause serious long-term issues with his joints when he grows up if untreated. Fortunately, there is treatment. Sadly, it may seem extreme: he needs an amputation.

Rex is now big enough to go through this life-changing surgery, and he’s young enough that he can learn to be a tripod and have a life like any other kitty. Still, amputation is expensive and it is a lot of money for us to drop on one kitty when we’re trying to save hundreds every year. So we’re turning to you, the community, to ask for help for this little boy.

We're So Close

The quote we were given was between $1800 and $2300. Famous Seamus has already put a huge dent in paying for Rex’s surgery, where if we had $400, we would be completely set no matter what curveballs may be tossed our way. Do you think you can help this little guy learn to walk the way he should? Can you make his life better by giving a few dollars? Once he’s on the road to recovery, he can head toward what every kitten of ours should: a forever home. You can help us make that happen. Will you please help Rex?
