Here’s a happy tails update from Kali, formerly Caylee! Kali is 13 years old and came to the shelter in rough shape. She needed a lot of medical attention even after she was adopted by her new mom, including all having all of her teeth pulled, having mats shaved off, receiving meds for kidney disease, and house-training. Her new mom took on all of these challenges with knowledge that Kali was going to have special needs and is now happy to say that Kali LOVES her 16-year-old “brother” and is feeling much better! Her mom says Kali is a love bug, is brave, and deserved to have that new home, and she hopes others don’t give up on senior dogs, even when things get complicated.
We think Kali’s family are angels and are so happy she is doing so well in her new home. We love these true rescue happy tails!
