Kiss or Diss to benefit Animals this Valentine's Day

This Valentine’s season you have the opportunity to share some love with your favorite shelter animal (or get a little playful vengeance on a human foe) while
helping to raise funds for the SPCA of Hancock County’s Prevent a Litter program.

The Kiss or Diss online event allows you to give a virtual kiss 😽 to your favorite
shelter dog or cat using the button below, or on the SPCA Facebook page. The dog and cat that get the most kisses will get a special treat (food related, of course!).

This on-line event also allows you to buy a “diss” in honor of an ex, a former friend, or even a boss. Shelter staff will write the name of the diss recipients on the bottom of a litter box. 😏

The cost for each Kiss or Diss is $5 and can be purchased through Friday, February 20.

All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will support the SPCA’s Prevent a Litter (PAL) program. The PAL initiative provides low-cost spay neuter certificates to pet owners in need. Participating local veterinarians and the SPCA each pay one third of the spay/neuter cost with the pet owner paying the remaining third.
