The Hancock County SPCA has a new way of operating while we comply with COVID 19 restrictions.

Visits to the Shelter: The shelter is currently closed to the public. Rest assured that our staff continues to care for animals in our care.

Adoptions:  Adoptions are still happening! Please fill out the cat adoption application or the dog adoption application and send it to us as an email attachment or in the mail.

Volunteers:  Yes, we are still in need of volunteers who can help us with work-from-home tasks like marketing, fundraising, and event planning. Start by filling out our Volunteer Application and sending it to us as an email attachment or in the mail.

Fostering animals:  More than ever, our animals need temporary foster homes so that we can make space for incoming animals. Think you can help? Fill out our Foster Application and send it to us as an email attachment or in the mail.

Surrenders:  We continue to take pets who need to be surrendered. Please call the SPCA at 207.667.8088 so that we may help.

We’d be grateful for your financial support at this time. It will allow us to continue to serve the animals in our care and those who, out of necessity, may be surrendered in coming weeks.
