One of our HAPPY TAILS:

Zuko, formerly Jack

Jack, now named Zuko, was a very scared and shy cat at the SPCA, so much so that we thought of offering him as part of a pair of barn cats, but then he showed some signs of remembering humans. A wonderful family took a chance with him and brought him home, and this was the adoption update they sent us recently:

“I adopted Jack back in May and what a new experience he was…He hid underneath the kitchen sink for 3 weeks and only came out at night when he thought everyone was sleeping…finally after months of gradually gaining his trust, he cuddles! He’s actually THE cuddliest cat! He loves attention on his own terms and gets his exercise in when he’s playing with his female friend! We love Zuko so much and our other cat (Maybe) loves not being home alone anymore!”
